Cardiplier Exchange
This policy describes how Cardiplier Exchange (“Cardiplier,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Site and its services.
Information we collect
Account information may include your name, email, phone number, and authentication and account records. We do not store your password in plaintext.
Submission information may include your CEX number, selected service, collection description, shipping information, and instructions. Catalog and processing data may include card identity, set, language, finish, quantity, reference values, condition-review status when applicable, images, location mapping, and related metadata.
Agreement records include the CEX and stable account association, version, accepted wording or reproducible document snapshot, affirmations, acceptance time, and related audit metadata.
Payment records may include approved quote versions, payment and refund amounts, statuses, transaction and receipt identifiers, dispute evidence, and customer authorization timestamps. We do not receive or store raw payment-card numbers when Stripe hosts Checkout.
Shipping and intake records may include carrier, tracking, delivery and receipt times, package weight and condition, packing details, photographs, video where used, documented contents, discrepancies, and refund or dispute records.
We also receive support communications and technical or security information such as IP address, browser or device details, sessions, login attempts, authentication events, and audit timestamps.
How we use information
We use information to operate accounts, review and process submissions, prepare quotes and results, manage disposition and shipping, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and unauthorized access, and meet accounting or legal obligations.
Information we do not require for ordinary signup
An ordinary Cardiplier processing account does not require a Social Security number, government ID, or date of birth. Please do not include these in collection photos or support messages.
Service providers
Providers may support hosting and private storage, email, SMS, security, shipping, and payment operations. Stripe processes hosted Checkout transactions and refunds. Cardiplier shares the information needed for those functions, such as transaction amount and identifiers, under providers’ applicable terms and privacy practices. We do not store raw card numbers when Stripe handles payment entry.
Customer content and photographs
We use uploaded photos, catalog data, and shipping and intake photos or video to review, secure, document, and perform the service, resolve discrepancies, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. Uploading a photograph or being included in intake documentation does not grant Cardiplier advertising rights; any public promotional use requires separate permission.
Retention and security
We keep records, including payment approvals, refunds, chargebacks, and intake evidence, for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, handle accounting and disputes, and meet legal obligations. Some submission or collection history may remain after physical cards are returned.
We use safeguards intended to protect customer information, but no system is absolutely secure. We address breach notification according to applicable law.
Your choices and privacy requests
Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of applicable information. Some information may be retained for legitimate service, security, accounting, dispute, or legal reasons. You may manage available account settings through My Cardiplier.
Age
Accounts are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13. A parent or guardian may submit a minor's property through their own adult account when authorized.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will show the current version on this page. For a privacy question, use the Contact page and select Privacy.
