Frequently asked questions
Clear answers before you ship, approve work, or decide what happens to your cards.
What does Cardiplier do?
We review, sort, document, and prepare Pokémon and Magic collections according to an approved service scope. Processing gives you information and options before you decide what to do next.
Which games are currently supported?
Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering are the initial launch focus. Ask before sending anything else.
Do I have to sell my cards to Cardiplier?
No. Processing and selling are separate decisions. You may request applicable return, offer, or downstream options after results.
Should I mail cards immediately after submitting?
No. Wait until Cardiplier accepts your request and gives you shipping instructions.
Why review submissions before shipment?
We check the stated size, games, storage format, service fit, and current capacity before accepting custody.
When do I receive a final processing quote?
After the collection is received and inspected. Paid processing does not begin until you approve that quote.
What if I decline the quote?
You can request return. Return shipping is generally your responsibility, and any disclosed pre-processing charge is handled under the terms presented before shipment.
What is a CEX number?
It is your submission identifier for tracking and support.
Is a CEX number a password?
No. It does not authenticate you or unlock private records.
How are accounts secured?
Accounts use verified email, a permanent password, mandatory SMS MFA, revocable sessions, and server-side checks on private records.
What is Value Sift?
A threshold-driven review focused on cards meeting the selected reference-value floor. It does not promise a complete catalog of below-floor cards.
What is Full Collection?
A broader catalog and organization service. Identical printing, language, and finish may be represented by grouped quantities.
Does Full Collection include card-by-card condition review?
No. Condition defaults to not reviewed unless detailed condition work is separately quoted and approved.
What is Seller-Ready Premier?
A processing path for inventory intended for future listing or fulfillment, with the exact work defined by your quote.
Does Premier guarantee a sale?
No. It does not guarantee marketplace acceptance, sale, timing, or price.
How does Direct Bulk Buylist work?
You submit known commodity bulk for review. The initial amount is indicative; the final offer follows verification. You may accept or reject it.
Does Bulk Buylist hunt for valuable singles?
No. It is not a hidden-value search. Ask about Value Sift if discovery is your goal.
What does reference market value mean?
An informational market reference at a stated time. It is not a guaranteed sale price, appraisal, insurance value, tax value, or financial advice.
Is Cardiplier providing an appraisal?
No formal appraisal is included unless a separate service expressly says so.
Does Cardiplier authenticate cards?
No authentication guarantee is included unless a specific service explicitly states otherwise.
Can I send cards in binders, sleeves, or top loaders?
Tell us their current format in your submission and wait for packing instructions. Custom handling or preserving an exact binder order may require a separate quote.
Can you preserve my binder organization?
Describe it before shipping. Exact reconstruction is not the default and needs a confirmed scope.
Can I cancel a submission?
Yes, before shipment. After shipment or receipt you may request return; completed or underway approved work may affect charges.
What if the collection differs materially from my submission?
We pause, describe the changed scope, and ask for approval before materially increasing processing charges.
How long does processing take?
It depends on the service, collection size, complexity, and current capacity. We provide status updates through the workflow rather than a blanket turnaround promise.
